DOING IT AGAIN….Barrel Racing Association of Texas will host their 5th jackpot of the year this Saturday night, August 21st at Cleburne Outdoor Arena SEE FLYER. Books will open at 3:00 PM – sorry, no call-ins; exhibitions starting at 4:00 PM. The 15 & Under Youth 3D will run at 7:00 PM followed by the $100.00 Added Open 5D. TROPHY BUCKLES will be awarded in each D in the Youth & Open. We will be shortening the length of exhibition times due to the heat to three hours instead of four so remember exhibitions do fill up fast so come early if you must have one. As always, non-members are very welcome!

We have a couple of favors to ask of everyone - PLEASE don’t throw trash out in the parking lot. The past two races we’ve had at Cleburne we have had to drive back down during the week to pick up trash. This costs money which means less money for us to use for year-end awards.

Starting with our September barrel race we will be going back to the regular start times of exhibitions at 10:00 AM and the Youth at 2:00 PM followed by the Open. Our next race is scheduled for Saturday, September 18th at Cleburne Indoor Arena.

Paul Humphrey & BRAT are currently working the details out on an upcoming barrel clinic to be held somewhere around Halloween. If you are interested please contact one of the directors to get on a list. We’re thinking of raffling some positions off as well. More details to come….still thinking on this one.

Don’t forget - this year all our races will be PacWest sanctioned as well as Rise to The Top Productions sanctioned. If you do have a PacWest number please note the number on your entry form so proper credit can be given.

You will find attached the latest schedule of the BRAT remaining jackpots. This year we have also booked Diamond W for our 11th Annual BRAT Attack. This year it will be held on Saturday and Sunday on April 17-18, 2011.
